Data-storage company offers
quick-retrieval service
DataChambers Records Management said this week that it is offering a service that allows clients to scan, store and retrieve documents quickly and securely over the Internet.
The company, based in Winston-Salem, said that its iChamber express service targets the health-care, educational, financial and legal sectors. The goal is to help the company reduce the amount of paper documents they need to maintain.
The files are transferred directly from the scanner to a DataChambers data center located 18 feet underground in a hardened bunker.
The company provides secure information services, including document imaging, shredding, file management and records storage to more than 1,000 clients.
