NEWTON -- GoldToeMoretz LLC said yesterday that Stephen Lineberger, an executive at Hanesbrands Inc., has been hired as its president and chief operating officer. Lineberger will begin his duties in mid-September.
Lineberger served as a senior vice president and general manager for Hanesbrands' international unit, where he was in charge of its overall business operations in 11 countries. He also served as the president and chief executive for the Sara Lee Underwear and Sara Lee Sock divisions, supporting such brands as Hanes and Champion.
"Stephen is a proven business leader with the credentials and experience to lead our management team, accelerate our growth and improve the efficiency of our fulfillment organization," said John Moretz, the chief executive and chairman of GoldToeMoretz.
GoldToeMoretz was formed in October 2006, when Gold Toe Brands Inc. merged with Moretz Inc. The combined company offers owned, licensed and private-label brands of dress, casual and athletic sockwear. It also produces Under Armour, New Balance, Power Sox , Auro, GT and Silver Toe brands.
